The aim of this blog was to have brunch, come home and immediately write. That may have been a one off aim, we shall see. When I left the Bishop on Saturday the aim was just that. Unfortunately I came home, wrote 2 lines of text, threw on a load of washing and went to bed at 6pm. I had a Eurovision Party I was to attend at 5.15 am and the brunch certainly helped me to get to bed early.
Bishop Sessa (as it was formerly known) has been a long time favorite of mine. I used to take clients there for thank you lunches/dinners. The degustation was amazing, not only for the excellent food but for the delicious matching wines. At the end of the day much like the bottomless brunch, I would know exactly how much my meal would cost including booze.
Recently in an attempt to up my steps I walked past on a Friday. The special was 2 for one drinks (bargain!) and aperativo which is something I had recently experienced in Italy. Free food with drinks. Whilst there I imparted my love of the bottomless brunch and next minute this is what I saw.

I was there! I grabbed my friend Rohan, booked in advance and off we popped!

Not liking beer or red wine (don’t judge, it makes me sleepy!) I tried the sparkling rosé, the Pinot Grigio and the rosé all of which were delicious. In the end I stuck to the Pinot Grigio.

The food, as always at The Bishop was spectacular and so were the delicious wines.

In the end we each bought another drink (after the 2 hour mark) and finished off with a Tawny Port (totally worth the extra $$) I left The Bishop happy and smiling as I meandered my way back home to Surry Hills.
